Unintentional resetting

The alarm system might be wrongly released while the patient is disconnected, such as for a special testing or treatment. Reassigning the patient to the alarm system after pausing the alarming might end up in resetting of the alarm limits.

Protecting from unintentional resetting

The alarm system should protect from unintentional selection of the Released option while the patient is disconnected.

Functional testing:

1. Assign a patient to the system
2. Connect the patient
3. Disconnect the patient
4. Verify that the user cannot reassign the patient
